Emmy's First Litter

Born on 13 April 2006

Special thanks to Jean and Ron Brown of Lunaris Maine Coons near Kettering, for allowing their gorgeous boy Sonny (EC Coonattack Mr Morpheus) to be the father of Emmy's first litter.

Sire: EC Coonattack Mr Morpheus

Dam: Rozeecoonz Spirit of Freedom

Three of the kittens went to new homes, but Llewellyn and Violet have remained with us.

 RUBY

Black Tortie Classic Tabby with White

Always the first!  She was the first born, the first to climb out of the pen and the first to climb the stairs.  An inquisitive little girl, always on the go.  She loves to play and is very energetic - the boys can't keep up with her!     She has very distinctive markings and a red streak on her head.  A very pretty girl.

Ruby had an Ex 2 at Worthing, and a large number of comments on her pretty looks.  She really does have very attractive colouring and big eyes.

OWAIN

went to a new home

9 weeks

Black Classic Tabby

A big strong boy whose name means young warrior.  An active young man he is always one of the first at the food bowl, and is quite muscular.   He knows what he wants and goes for it.  A handsome fellow.  Owan is always purring and as he got older developed beautiful brown eyes.

At a show in Worthing on 6 August 2006 Owain received an Ex. 1, BIV, a nomination and Best in Show Kitten.  As you can imagine, we were absolutely delighted with him.

GWYN

9 weeks

Black Classic Tabby with White

A quiet solid little chap with four white socks he is the biggest of the kittens.  Gwyn likes to watch his brothers and sisters first and then join in.  He has a good appetite and likes his cuddles.  He was the first to leave home and is now enjoying his new home over the border.  His new mum and dad, Jean and Norman keep us informed of his progress and we have some lovely photos of him.

Black Classic Tabby with White

So called because she had her back claws painted with mauve vanish for identification when she was born.  A beautiful, wide eyed girl.  Dainty and active she was the 'little one' of the litter, but has now grown to be a large chunky girl who loves her food. Very much like her brother, Owain, it was difficult to tell them apart.  At Worthing in August Violet got an Ex 1, and again at Morley on September 10th.  When taking Owain up for the nominations and Best in Show I had to double check that I had not picked Violet up by mistake.  She is developing into a strong muscular girl.

Waking from an afternoon nap

Red Classic Tabby

Lou-Lou to his friends. Not at all like the others - more like a little lion cub.  Llew is the Welsh word for lion. He is a large, loving boy with huge paws, and enjoys being cuddled.  The last born of the litter; he is a gentle giant and very handsome.  He always manages to stand out in the crowd.

Lou-Lou also received an Ex 1 at Worthing, and drew a lot of attention from both exhibitors and visitors with his innocent good looks.  He enjoyed every minute.  At the Morley Show on September 10th 2006 he received another Ex.1
